The Hertfordshire Way is a long distance footpath around the county of Herfordshire. The route was chosen to show the variety of scenary found within the county. Including its extension the path is 194 miles long. More details of the walk can be found on the The Hertfordshire Way web site.
The web site gives details of 14 linear walks which make up the walk, details of how to obtain the guidebook and also updates to the route.
If you prefer the simplicity of circular walks we have composed a series of 35 circular walks based on the route. The walks are between 8 and 13 miles long, and where possible start from a car park however some require street parking. Also two of the walks include a short rail journey. The walks traverse the entire Hertfordshire Way, including the extension, covering a total distance of 350 miles.

All the walks include an OS grid reference and post code of the walk starting point. Post codes are not always accurate, and this is particularly true where the start point is not an urban street. They should not be relied upon, and you should always check the start point on a map.
