Welcome
Welcome to the West Herts Ramblers. We are a friendly group with members based mostly, but not exclusively, in the Hemel and St Albans Area. We are keen to encourage new members to join us and to spread the word on the benefits of walking. We have at least one walk every Sunday and one most Tuesdays. Our walks range from 3 to 15 miles with most being between 5 and 10 miles. We walk in the beautiful countryside of Herts, Beds and Bucks with occasional forays further afield including London. We also have occasional pub walks, coach trips and walking breaks away.
New members are welcome to join us on a couple of taster walks before committing to membership. Please contact Us if you want to find out more about us or our walks.

Hertfordshire and North London Walk Fest 2026
The 2026 Hertfordshire and North London Walk Fest will be held in Welham Green on Saturday 3rd October. There are a range of morning and afternoon walks from 4 to 13 miles. Click here to see the details and the walks programme. West Herts Ramblers are part of the Ramblers Hertfordshire and North London Area and there will not be a West Herts walk on Sunday 4th October.
